New Year~~ New Blog!

I've done a bit better with taking pictures of my food today. I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of the Fitbit that I bought, and so far I like it. I've been logging my food on the website, and discovered that a lot of the foods I eat they don't have. So, I've had to enter the new foods.

Breakfast was Clif bar and coffee (not pictured)--  mid morning snack was a clementine.

I tried out a new church today, and I think it may be a keeper. I was rather excited!

Lunch was Trader Joes Margarita Puff Pastry pizza, mixed fruit from Whole foods, baby carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, and Hummus from TJ's.

And of course a Banana Nut VitaTop for dessert. :-)

Not sleeping well again last night, and waking up early is really starting to catch up with me. Even though it was New Year's Eve, I went to bed at 8:30!! I actually fell asleep relatively quickly, but I kept waking up in the middle of the night. I finally awoke at 6, and decided to get up for the day. By mid afternoon I was so sleepy, and needed a pick-me-up, so I had a Luna bar and more coffee.

With having some energy, I went for a workout at the gym. I participated in Amanda's Resolution Fun Run today, and did 2.5 miles on the treadmill with a run/walk. I ran for probably about 25 minutes, and walked for 10. Then I did 30 minutes on the elliptical. I've started to become a really big Bronco's fan, mostly b/c of Tim Tebow, and was disappointed that they lost to the Chiefs. It provided a good distraction for me while I was working out!

I had a relatively big lunch, so my dinner was kind of light- Blue chips with Whole Food salsa, baby carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and 2 clementines.

A bit of TJ's Chocolate Sorbet for dessert...

I've had 2 pretty good healthy days, so progress!!

  1. I love how clementines peel so easily and leave little to know pith behind. Cara Cara navel oranges are my second favorite citrus so far.
